The scientific journal "Internauka" was included in the international scientometric database Index Copernicus International (ICI) on November 18, 2017.

In the International database of scientific journals Index Copernicus International scientific journals are registered, which have passed a multilevel specialized selection. Confirmation of indexation in the Index Copernicus database is the obtained numerical index ICV (Index Copernicus Value). ICV 2016 of the scientific journal "Internauka" is 70.64.

The ICV Index Copernicus is a recognized scientific criterion for the quality of a scientific journal and recommended by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Poland as a criterion for evaluating the scientific results of researchers. ICV Index Copernicus is widely used in scientific organizations and public institutions in Poland and other countries of the European Union, as well as outside the EU.

The ICV audience consists of:

publishers of scientific journals that use ICV, first of all, in order to get acquainted with the assessment of the quality of the scientific journal, the characteristics of its strengths and weaknesses, in order to take measures that will help to increase the citation and prestige of the magazine and the publishing house;

scientific staff who want to receive the following information: what journals should publish scientific articles, and what publications are worth reading in order to obtain reliable information necessary for scientific research;

research organizations that are interested in studying information on the strengths and weaknesses of journals, which is important in the certification of scientific and pedagogical workers;

public organizations and grantors that use the ICV indicator as one of the criteria for allocating financial resources in the field of science.

ICV is a criterion for the authority of the scientific journal and an indicator of how the index of citing the publication and articles published in it is changing. ICV is formed by the sum of scores for the evaluation of two components:

quality of the scientific journal, which is measured on the basis of a multifaceted methodology for assessing the publication, which was developed in the course of many years of research by experts Index Copernicus

– Impact factor of the scientific journal, which is calculated on the basis of the cited edition, which, in turn, reflects the degree of visibility of the journal in the scientific world and the dynamics of its development.

Expert evaluation of scientific journals included in Index Copernicus is carried out by careful analysis of each published number. This analysis is based on the study of special scientometric parameters of the publication, including the so-called hard copy (full-text versions of the evaluated journals delivered to the Index Copernicus office). When evaluating and developing criteria for evaluating journals that are included in the index, specialists engaged in biometric analysis of publications, including an analysis of the contribution of a journal to the development of science and the scientific effectiveness of published studies, participate.
