DOI (Digital Object Identifier) is an international standard (ISO 26324:2012) of the identification of information, which is appropriated to scientific publications, such as: scientific articles, collections of scientific articles, summaries of conferences, reports of conferences, reviews of scientific articles, theses, applications for grants, patents, reports on scientific work, textbooks, scientific aids, monographs. The publishing house "Internauka" is the official partner (Sponsoring Member) of Crossref in Europe with the status of Sponsoring Member (statement form register Sponsoring member) and is authorized by administrative, financial, billing, technical issues to represent publishers in Publishers International Linking Association, Inc. (PILA)
Existence of the DOI identifier demonstrates high technological quality of the edition. It is recommended to assign DOI to all scientific publications. The relevance of the DOI assignment is especially important for journals included or planning to apply for inclusion in the VAK list (for Ukrainian scientific journals, the assignment of DOI to each article is mandatory, according to point 6 of the Procedure for Forming the List of Scientific Professional Publications of Ukraine (Order MES No. 32 of 15.01.2018). Also, the DOI is obligatory for the editions entering into the leading scientometric bases (Scopus, Web of Science).
