DOI (Digital Object Identifier) is an international standard (ISO 26324:2012) of the identification of information, which is appropriated to scientific publications, such as: scientific articles, collections of scientific articles, summaries of conferences, reports of conferences, reviews of scientific articles, theses, applications for grants, patents, reports on scientific work, textbooks, scientific aids, monographs. Existence of the DOI identifier demonstrates high technological quality of the edition. It is recommended to assign DOI to all scientific publications. The relevance of the DOI assignment is especially important for journals included or planning to apply for inclusion in the VAK list (for Ukrainian scientific journals, the assignment of DOI to each article is mandatory, according to point 6 of the Procedure for Forming the List of Scientific Professional Publications of Ukraine (Order MES No. 32 of 15.01.2018). Also, the DOI is obligatory for the editions entering into the leading scientometric bases (Scopus, Web of Science).

To start cooperation, it is necessary to issue the contract between the applicant organization and the Internaca Publishing House, which describing terms of cooperation and payment. The publishing house "Internauka" offers for publishers (editions, universities, scientific organizations) two ways of cooperation on assignment of digital identifiers DOI.
The first option (without paying an annual fee).
The applicant organization is assigned with a unique DOI prefix. To assign DOI suffixes to the publisher (publication, scientific organization, university), it is necessary to post scientific material on its own website and send a link requesting DOI to the e-mail: email@example.com with the notation "DOI assignment". Within 3-5 business days, an e-mail with information about the assigned DOI will be sent. Under the contract of the organization-applicant with the Publishing house "Internauka" the following payments are provided:
The applicant organization is assigned with a unique DOI prefix, and provided with a login / password to access the system (personal cabinet) for registration of free 10 DOIs tests in the Crossref system, after testing and making a payment the applicant organization become a part of Crossref register. From this moment, you will be able to register DOI, view statistics, connect additional services (CrossMark, Similarity Check, Cited-by Linking) and work with them. It should be noted that it is very important to have your own DOI prefix, which belongs exactly to your publisher, organization or magazine, and not transfer the right to register to third parties. This can lead to the loss of affiliation with your magazine in case of a break in the relationship (the Register of Crossref members, who have their own prefix is provided on the Crossref website by reference).

IMPORTANT: Because of a mass registration of scientific publications, DOI appeared a lot of scammers. We underline that for the scientific content DOI is assigned by the registration agency Crossref. The publisher may enter into a direct contract with Crossref or its sponsoring organization. The prefix of the publishing house, academic institution or university must be individual and affiliated with the institution, not sponsor or any other organization.
