Abstract: The article examines the state and prospects of innovation and development of start-ups in Ukraine; the analysis of Ukraine's place in the World Economic Forum, the speakers and the number of applications received protection for inventions, utility models and industrial designs in Ukraine, analyzes the dynamics of the number of innovative active industrial enterprises in 2011-2015 and areas of innovation costs, advantages and disadvantages in the development of start-ups in Ukraine and identified future prospects.

Summary: The article offers an approach to establishment of conditions of existence and uniqueness of solution of the boundary value problem for the linear integro-differential equation with a parameter, as well as represents the method of reducing the given problem to the equivalent integral equation.

The article is of theoretical nature. The results obtained may be used for treatment of specific applied problems. Theoretical computations are illustrated with specific example.
