Summary: This work represents complex evaluation of so-called area “Dnieper Rapids”. The method, proposed for evaluation, is attractive for the foreign investments. Its essence is in the identification of natural and anthropogenic factors of environmental hazards and determining the scope and intensity of their manifestation in a particular area by means of integrated quality indicators.

Summary: Environmental protection is one of the most important issues of our time. The aim of this work is to compare data obtained with standard methods and by the method of rapid assessment for the factor of noise pollution primarystring site. Method of express-assessment of the noise pollution of the area the territory with country estates building allows to reduce time of monitoring the level of environmental security of the population of the territory under consid-eration, compared to standard methods of determining this indicator.

Summary. The article presents the results of using the binary system cooling rescuer safety helmet. It is found that this allows a long time to carry out work under the influence of the presence of excess radiation protection from mechanical particles, as well as during extreme situations such as burning chemicals, magnesium alloys, electric circuits. For protection from ultraviolet radiation additionally developed a special coating with photochromic properties.

Summary. Stability of steel tanks at external wind pressure and its buckling and post-buckling behavior is examined. For the reliable estimation of stability of steel tanks at external pressure the nonlinear analysis is required. Recommendations for taking into account wind type load in the stability estimate of steel tanks are given.

The questions of safety of workers which work in dangerous terms in extraordinary situations (ES) on the objects of a build industry are examined in the article. Authors offer an useful model which behaves to the application of scullguard domain with the visor of fireman-rescuer. Namely, to the shock-protective helmets (to the helmets) and by the devices connected with them for defence of person and sights which are produced from composite materials on the basis of fiberfills and relating their polymeric layers.
