Abstract: This work presents an algorithm for filtering e-mail. In solving the problem applies linguistic signatures and text analysis. Content analysis involves base of linguistic laboratory, which updates regularly. After the message is analyzed, there is a choice of what to do with it: if it contains spam then it gets a special mark or just removes. If it doesn’t then the message passes on.

Summary: Pattern recognition is central problem of image processing. This paper presents the improved plain object recognition algorithm in image processing based on stochastic geometry developed by the author. The system of trace, circular and diametrical functionals has been reworked. In particular, developed a new set of diametrical functionals, for a more efficient and rapid recognition.

Summary: The salient image feature detection task is one of the central problem of image processing. This paper presents the improvement of the developed by the author the vertex detection algorithm in image processing based on approximation of binary image contour by vector. For example, new rules on approximation with given accuracy of binary image contour by directed segments were developed to more accurately and quickly effective detection of the vertex. Brief emphasis on main image salient feature detection algorithms provided. The comparative evaluation of these algorithms carried out.

Summary: Image segmentation is central problem of image processing. This paper presents mathematical models using elementary and plain objects in image-based processing in contour analysis developed by the author. In the models, an image object is treated as the equivalent of its boundary and an image object’s closed contours decomposition set definition is proposed. An analytical solution was obtained, which was then applied in the analysis of a specific image object.
