Summary. In article the author pays attention of influence of positive motivation to professional and personal self-development of future specialists in automobile and road branch. It is certain that professional and personal self-development of students directly depends on meanings and values which are put in professional activity.

Summary. This article considers emergence of a concept of “human factor” and its influence on the complex “Driver – Car – Road – Environment” (DCRE) system. Specific features of the human role in the transport safety system and in the complete complex DCRE system were analyzed. The author substantiated the necessity to consider human factor when reviewing safety of the DCRE system.

Abstract. The article examines special aspects of the concept of motor vehicle safety and the concept of transport safety. The problems and prospects of motor vehicle safety were given herein. A wide range of internal and external threats, which impair transport safety of the country were observed. Along with the concept of transport safety threat, a classification of transport safety threats was introduced. It was concluded, that further development of transport system and provision of its stable operation in conditions of transport safety refer to strategic tasks of the State.

Abstract. The article conceptually describes the main tasks aimed at transport safety advancement and strengthening of national interests of Ukraine in the transport sector. It is noted herein, that the national interests in the transport sector are provided by governmental authorities, which perform their functions based on Ukrainian legislation in the field of transport safety. At the same time, they realize transport safety through implementation of the unified state policy in the field of transport safety, the system of economic, political, organizational and other measures that are adequate to the threats to vital interests of individuals, society and the State in the transport sector.
