Summary. This article explores the features of the constitutional and legal development of Latvia, examines the structure of the Constitution of the Republic of Latvia, emphasizes the features of the provisions of its articles, compares the Constitution of Latvia in 1922 with the Constitution of the Russian Federation of 1993 and the constitutions of some foreign countries.

Abstract: The article deals with the use of the discourse analysis method in the study of city identity, the relevance of the application of this method to the study of abstract concepts is substantiated. The article analyzes local media as one of the sources for constructing the sociocultural identity of the city, examines the influence of Finno-Ugric culture on news content.

Abstract: The article describes the main changes in the regulatory and legal regulation of arbitration in Russia, with the adoption of the Federal Law of December 29, 2015 number 382-FZ. We characterize the new requirements for the organization of the arbitration courts and arbitration administration, facilitate the implementation of arbitration, innovations in matters of arbitration and to enter into settlement agreements.

This article discusses the economic and political consequences of lower oil prices. It also describes the specific impact of falling oil prices, Saudi Arabia, the Russian Federation and Iran. The analysis of the reasons for the fall in oil prices, namely the impact of the US production of shale oil, oil smuggling and others. It was also found the relationship of economic and political reasons for the fall in oil prices.

This article discusses the purpose and features of the foreign policy of the Russian Federation. It pays particular attention to Russia's foreign policy in the Middle East. This strategy for the return of Vladimir Putin's Russia international status of a superpower. There was also made a brief analysis of the strategy to counter US influence in the Middle East and beyond.

In this article the author described the role of the international community to combat terrorism in Syria. He gave a brief definition of the main terrorist groups in Syria, namely the Al-Nusra Front and the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant ("LIH"). They also discussed counter-terrorism measures in different countries such as the United States. Britain, France, Saudi Arabia and the international organizations, namely the United Nations.

In this article the author wrote about the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction in the Middle East. We have considered the reasons and motives of nuclear proliferation in the region. Details have been investigated external and internal factors of the Iranian nuclear program. Also described the impact of the Israeli nuclear program and other regional conflicts in the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. There was also made a brief analysis of the security strategy of the United States.

This article focuses on international efforts to combat terrorism. It describes measures to combat terrorism of international organizations, namely the European Union, NATO, the Arab League, the Organization of American States, the United Nations. Explained for each organization separately from its other ways to combat the global threat of terrorism in general, and particularly in the Middle East.
