Summary: Results of field studies on Svalbard performed in 2008–2014 during Norwegian-Russian collaboration in the frame of NorthPOP, SvalPOP projects and with support of Russian Foundation for Basic Research (RFBR), project mol_a 14-05-21382, are discussed.
