Abstract: This scientific article raises questions of the following image: Consideration of political parties in our time and political parties in the democratic sphere. An analysis of democratic and political parties is being conducted.

Summary: The analysis of political communication at the beginning of the twenty first century is presented in article. Features of functioning of communication in the field of her specific means, namely through informal sources of political communication, mass media and election campaigns are shown. The author focuses special attention to roles of various means of communication, drawing a conclusion that political communication has to promote democratization in relationship of the state and the personality.
